Hi, I'm Lee
Hey there. I’m Lee Delarm. I’ve been a software engineer for more than 20 years, and I’ve loved games for even longer. Midnight Hollow is where those two things finally meet. It’s my one-person game studio, and this devlog is where I’ll write about what I’m making.
Right now, that’s two games.
The first is Cybersystem-D. You write small Python programs, and a bot you’ve built runs them on levels that are different every time. The deeper you go, the more your code has to handle, and the more you learn along the way. By the later levels you’re even picking up some light vector database work, which is not a sentence I expected to write about a game. If you’ve ever wanted to learn Python by building something instead of working through a tutorial, this one’s for you.
The second is Lawn & Disorder, where you play a raccoon out for revenge. The humans cut down your forest, and now they have to live with you. It’s early, so there’s nothing to show yet, but I’m having a lot of fun with it.
I’ll post here as things happen: what’s working, what isn’t, and the occasional idea that went sideways. If you want to hear when there’s something to play, there’s a newsletter signup below. If you just want to say hi, the contact page comes straight to me.
Thanks for stopping by.
Lee
